The Eroica
L'Eroica is a cycling event that has been held since 1997 with vintage bicycles . The race takes place in the evocative white roads of Chianti. The regulation in order to participate in the Eroica requires the use of vintage racing bikes that have the following requirements
- Steel frame
- Pedals with toe clips
- Brake levers with external wires
- Gear levers on the frame
The event is usually celebrated on the first Sunday of October with departure from Gaiole in Chianti.
